ABOUT MIKI

My approach is compassionate, inclusive, and fiercely respectful of the courage it takes to heal

I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, #3083, in good standing with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada—which is a fancy way of saying I’ve done my homework, dotted my i’s, and I’m here to help. My Professional trainings spans continents, from The Minster Centre in the UK to certification in Relational Somatic Therapy under the guidance of Mariah Moser M.A. in Canada. Based in Vancouver, I work with clients worldwide, offering support across time zones, accents, and cultural contexts.

For years, I’ve worked with Aboriginal youth in-care, which has taught me more than I could ever have imagined about the deep ripples of collective and intergenerational trauma. This work has shaped my approach—compassionate, inclusive, and fiercely respectful of the courage it takes to heal. I work closely with a supervisor and a support team because even helpers need help, and because growth is a lifelong pursuit.

Before counselling, I spent years in Switzerland and the UK as a brand and advertising consultant, immersed in the art of storytelling. Along the way, I became a Nutritional Therapist and started teaching yoga and meditation. Everything I’ve done and learned informs the way I show up in therapy—a holistic, relational approach rooted in curiosity, care, and the belief that healing is always possible.
